Issues Dog and Cat Licenses
- When purchasing a new license, owner must come in person, provide a rabies certificate and spayed/neutered certificate (if applicable).
- If animal is spayed or neutered, the fee is $7.50 for license.
- if animal is NOT spayed or neutered, the fee is $15.50 for license.
- Only dogs and cats belonging to City of Hornell residents will be licensed.
Peddlers & Contractors
Issues various permits (peddlers, contractors, etc.)
- Peddlers must pay a fee of $2.00 for one day or $25.00 for six months. Transient Merchants must pay a fee of $500.00 per event. APPLICATION FOR PEDDLERS AND TRANSIENT MERCHANTS
- Contractors must pay a fee of $5.00 per year and show proof of liability insurance and Workers Comp insurance
